(www.inkthinkerblog.com) — You may know Liz Strauss as the host of Open Comment Night, or perhaps as the brilliant mind behind SOBCon, but now you’ll know her as the generous woman who put on a totally awesome contest for bloggers with $3900 in prizes. Yes, you did read that right, and no, I’m not kidding — and neither is she.
Liz has teamed up with Blog Design Studio to offer prize pairs of her e-book The Secret to Writing a Successful and Outstanding Blog: An Insider’s Guide to the Conversation that’s Changing How Business Works (valued at $29) and a personal license for their premium WordPress theme Edge (valued at $49) to 50 winners. Yes, that would be 50 people. FIFTY.
Here’s how to enter:
- Take a picture of something that shows that brand new feeling like the one goes with a first blog post.
- Compose a one sentence message that describes what your picture is saying. Yeah you could call it a caption.
- Enter those and your contact information [in the form on the contest post]. Upload a copy of your photo that is no larger than 400×400 pixels.
- Check twice to make sure that your information is complete.
The first fifty who follow directions with clever pictures that show that brand-new feeling will be featured at Successful Blog with a link back to their blogs (if they have one).
Am I entering? Um, duh! You bet I am! I hope you do, too. But do it soon, because the contest ends after 50 eligible entries, or on September 14, whichever comes first.
